Not that I update this old thing a whole hell of a lot anyway, but there will really be no updates over the next couple weeks, as I take to the Cannes Film Festival for the very first time.
Should be a blast, so be sure to check out what I'm doing/seeing over on InRO's Cannes Coverage page, where I'll be linking to my coverage for both The Playlist and Talk Cinema.
When I get back, expect some film reviews of Assayas' "Summer Hours" and of new filmmaker Lee Isaach Chung's superlative debut feature, "Munyurangabo." Both will be in theaters in the next couple weeks, and I'll say this much about them now: see them at the first available opportunity.
